Who was Brandon

Brandon Evans was a young man who loved his family and friends, music, law enforcement colleagues and Texas Tech University.

Brandon grew up in Graham, where he played trumpet in the high school band for 4 years. Upon acceptance to Texas Tech, he earned a position in the Goin Band from Raiderland where he formed lasting friendships.

Brandon loved his alma mater and enjoyed participating in the annual Texas tech alumni game halftime show with his fellow band members.

Brandon's Passion

He continued his love for music by joining the Honor Guard at the Arlington Police Department. He wanted to ensure that any fallen officer or military funeral had a live trumpet rather than a trumpet recording.

As an Arlington Police Officer, Brandon received numerous peak performance awards, including a nomination for Officer of the Year.

Brandon is remembered as a fun-loving father and husband, charismatic and loyal friend and immensely talented musician.
